Maybe someday …

I wish I could draw weather better. This morning was so beautiful here
in lower Michigan. We had had a little snow overnight and it had piled
up on the yellow leaves that are still on the trees. The sun came out
and started to slowly melt the snow as it shown through the leaves
making them glow. The sun glinted on big drops of melted snow as they
fell from the leaves. The whole scene was bright and wet and so very
seasonal. I wish I could have just reached out there into it and
captured a little piece of it on paper. I’m not that good of an artist
yet, though. Maybe I will be someday.
