I drew today! It was lovely. I had a good long session and have almost finished a little piece that has taken way longer than it "should" have. Well, I’m not sure there ought to be any "shoulds" in art, but we all do put ourselves under odd restrictions, create time limits and invisible hurdles we must jump, and have all sorts of other limiting notions about ourselves. For me, half the battle of art is getting around all those self imposed rules!
