We’re going to a big, week long festival in June and I’d love to be able to sit down and sketch in public. Drawing in public has always been hard for me to do. I draw slowly, as I’ve mentioned, and so people are always a little disappointed when they take a look at what I’m doing, and that’s kind of disconcerting. Then, I’m a very shy person and that makes it (and everything else) difficult, too. Once I get started drawing, though, I don’t feel shy at all, so maybe I just need some practice. I’ll start small, like driving to some location and drawing in my car, and then progress to more public displays, like actually getting out of the car. I think baby steps are needed here. :)
