Our Lilacs are blooming. The late freeze we had a few weeks ago took its toll on them, but we do have some blossoms now. I have some sort of bronchitis bug that has turned ugly these last few days, so I cut a single cluster to bring inside to cheer me up. I’m sitting here with it now, at the computer, and it’s filling this space with its lovely sent. That beautiful blue lilac color is my favorite, too. See? It’s not a perfect cluster at all. It’s missing flowers and it’s small, but it seems exquisite to me.
