Roots, my latest WIP (… and thank you for wondering where I’ve been.)

Thank you all for leaving comments and emailing me after I wrote that last post about being depressed, and then dropped out of sight. I’m sorry I didn’t respond to any of you, and I hope you understand that being responsive was difficult for me at that time.

I went to the Doc finally, after the St. Johns Wort got rid of the depression but anxiety popped up in its place. I’ve been trying different medications and they have all kept the depression away, and now they’re starting to work on the anxiety too.

Anyway, I’ve been improving slowly and I’ve been able to devote more time to drawing and writing my drawing classes. I’m getting ready to re-open the classes and plan to have Basic Line Drawing up and running this month.

Here’s the drawing I’ve been working on. I call it Roots.
