Lovely green things are poking their noses out of the ground all around here. These are May Apples. They come up out of the ground with their leaves swirled around their stem, and then they unfold them like an umbrella!<\/p>\n

This was one of the first pieces I ever tried to stipple. I was able to get some three dimensional form but doing it nearly made me insane! LOL … all that tap tap tapping. It scans beautifully, though, and looks so bright and cheery on the screen that I like to show it off now and then.
