After you&#8217;ve been at it for a while, the eye and hand become so coordinated that drawings are created almost entirely by touch. I love that feeling. It fills me up to the top! It satisfies two senses at the same time, and it makes me feel complete.<\/p>\n<p>So many times when I&#8217;m teaching someone to draw, I want to turn their head toward the subject and take their hand and draw the lines for them so they can <em>feel<\/em> the line their eye is seeing. I don&#8217;t do that, of course, or they&#8217;d never have the joy of making this magical discovery for themselves. I have to sit on my hands, sometimes, and wait patiently for the muse to do her own work. :)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Drawing is a felt thing.
