I’ve mentioned this before. My house is a mess! Until recently, I’ve had to work full time jobs, squeeze in art after work, and you can guess when I found time to do housework. That’s right. Never! (Well, almost never.) So I joined Flylady (flylady.com<\/a>) and developed a doable cleaning routine that works through the entire house over the course of a month. And there are daily routines, too, that keep the kitchen and bathroom looking nice.<\/p>\n

The housecleaning routine has not worked a miracle, exactly, but it is starting to have effects. My bathroom and kitchen have been looking very nice for several weeks, but the rest of the house is coming along slowly, too. Best of all, today I realized that I no longer felt overwhelmed by the mess! I’m still not ready to entertain, who knows what a guest might accidently sit on at this point, but I might be sometime in the near future.
