Find a meadow, garden or another place where flowers tend to grow.<\/p>\n<p>2.  Get there early in the morning or late in the evening when the light is slanted and magical.<\/p>\n<p>3.  Choose an especially fine flower subject by:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A. Spinning around until you&#8217;re dizzy and then choosing the first flower you can focus on clearly.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><small><i>a.)  This can be challenging and you may have to try hard to find the flower&#8217;s &#8220;good side.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p> b.)  You may fall on your subject.<\/i><br \/>\n<\/small><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>  B. Asking out loud &#8220;who wants a portrait done&#8221;<br \/>\nand then tell anyone interested to bobble back and forth.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><small><i>a.)  May not work on a windy day.<\/i><\/small><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>  C. Finding a comfortable spot to sit in and<br \/>\nthen locating a perfectly good subject right in front of you.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><small><i> a.)  This is my preferred way.<\/i><\/small><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>4.  Watch out for honey bees.  They are territorial about &#8220;their&#8221; flowers.<\/p>\n<p>5.  Watch out for honey bees but avoid Bumble Bees.  They<br \/>\nhold a grudge and can remember who you are for several days.<\/p>\n<p>6.  Put your pencil to the paper and draw.
