Xmas Cactus Bloom<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

My Christmas Cactus is blooming! Well \u2026 it’s only got two blossoms but that’s more than it usually gets. I’m not sure what I do wrong, but it hardly every blooms. Unless I buy a new plant, this is going to be the last naturally blooming flower I see until spring, so I’m glad I took the time to document the event with a drawing.<\/p>\n

Now that I look at it, I see that I actually drew this flower from the underneath side. It didn’t occur to me I was drawing it from that angle at the time, I just turned the plant until the blossom made a shape that I liked and started drawing.<\/p>\n

I hope you find a few more flowers blooming in your life before winter sets in and, if you do, I hope you take the time to draw them!<\/p>\n
