Gnome Homes!

brown-under-tree.jpgI used to sculpt quite a bit. As a matter of fact, I thought sculpture would be my major back in college. Later on, I got a job as a jeweler and made wax models for many years.

Drawing is similar to sculpting in many ways. Most specifically, they both deal with form, texture and space. I often think that drawing feels like sculpting with light and shadow.

I’m not sure if that explains my Gnome Homes, but there they are. I’m making Gnome Homes. Small, mushroom shaped homes for Gnomes. You can take off the roof and put a little treat inside, if you want. :)
