I took time to go outside and sketch today. It was a beautiful day! Everything was in motion, including the light. The wind was blowing the leaves creating ever changing patterns of shadows. I didn’t really capture the scene very well and that’s okay. Sometimes sketching is more about being present in the moment than it is about drawing well.
